The challenge is to create a logo for a small business that is in Canada. So, I needed to create a new logo that is inspired by the business and its name and goal.
The goal was to create a modern clear simple logo for ‘Garlic and Onion Restaurant’, so I collected as much information about the restaurant and the types of food they serve as I could to get my initial ideas and sketches. I did too many sketches around the name of the restaurant and Shawarma as they focus on serving Lebanese shawarma. Then started to play around with typefaces and colours I would like to use. I did two different designs to give the opportunity to the client to choose between both. The chosen logo is the one that focuses on the Shawarma as they want it to be clear and focus on their main dish.
